Drop public seating

Drop circular public seating, inspired by the image of a falling water drop at the momemt of its impact on a liquid surface.

This piece of furniture is consisted of two parts: The circular base that accommodates the seated persons and the vertical part, which also functions as a light column.

The use of a concentrated-led light lamp placed at the interior of the circular base, grants the diffusion of light on the vertical semi – transparent part.

The designer visualised the presence of this item in public spaces, such as hotel lobbies, company waiting areas, airports, clubs, restaurants, theaters, malls, galleries, etc.
